UMdL participates at World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2016, supported also by International Labour Organization (ILO) and sustained also by the International Social Security Association (ISSA).
April 28th is also known as International Workers’ Memorial Day. In all the World this is an opportunity to promote the prevention of diseases and injuries at work and promote the memory of all deaths at work. It is possible to find events and activities often promoted by trade unions in many countries, by the website 28april.org.
In Italy, notably, this day is an opportunity to remember, among the others, asbestos’ victims. Here information about the event MAI PIU’ AMIANTO (NO MORE ASBESTOS) in Rome promoted by trade unions Cgil, Cisl, and Uil on April 29th 2016.
This year theme of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2016 is “Workplace Stress: a collective challenge”.
