In 2014 the main theme of the event organized by SPARC (Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition) is “Generation Open”. Every year this week represents the opportunity to talk about Open Access for librarians, faculties, research funders, universities, administrators, students and all people worldwide. Much has already been done but even more Open Access has the making of an important academic and scientific revolution. Clearly UMdL and our Journal embrace.
